Mary I just thought I'd add my appreciation of your build. The car looks so good it'd be almost a shame to race it but then of course it'd be a shame not to with all those goodies under the skin.

Looking forward to seeing you and her on the track. (via youtube)!

True story.. I'm 100% behind the idea of the clear film if you spent any decent money on paint.. with all the sticky tire action my paint would be FUBAR without the film.

Remind me, that was a DSE roll bar? Did you add a rear firewall under the rear seat delete, I'm interested in doing that though I hadn't thought of carpeting it, but rather painted.

Also, do you think the gray engine bay would look good on a dark blue car? I want something different than black or body color, or I was thinking of doing the A arms gray with black frame.

It's really too bad that California Pony Cars isn't still making spoilers. They used to make spoilers out of the same plastic as gallon milk jugs and they were almost indestructable, they would bend but never crack. Once they knew they were not going to sell replacements they seemed to disappear and are never to be seen made from unbreakable material agian.

The roll bar is Autopower and bolts in. We had an interior specialist do the rear seat delete and paneling and there is a panel in front of the seat back area made out of very light plywood. That adds some support but not a ton of weight.

I like the gray I chose for the engine bay, interior, and undercarriage. For blue, you might want to go a shade darker. Make sure whatever color you end up with also comes in a spray can for touch ups. It will happen ...

The touch up concern is my only hold back, and why I'm thinking for it not to be body color at least.

      Thanks again!

Those Anvil inners. Does anybody think they will allow me to run my 17x8 255's. My car sits pretty low.

Also will they clear the Hotchkis Max handle bars?

255 shouldn't be a problem, but depends on backspacing. With the right backspacing, you should be able to easily go over 275. Not sure about the Hotchkis bars, but should probably work since we didn't pull out the inside that much.

275's on the front right now, no rubbing, and can probably go wider ...

Ok thanks, Matt and Mary (M n M) for getting back to me so quickly. I'll give Matt a call on Monday...

SLO Z28 what profile and size are you running. 235/40/17 is not the same height as 235/40/18...1" difference in height. Also your wheel offsets and suspension camber could be causing issues. Lastly a stiffer anti roll bar and or shocks can help stop tyre to fender interference all be it often at the cost of ride quality.
