I'm OK with them, but I would rather see you build a 240Z!

We have one we started for Michael before we did Project Prodigy/ We have sme real cool ideas for one, but they simply are not worth any money when they are done.

that would be a cool project and an ecotech would be a good choice for power and weight. go for it. Chaz

I say if you can find one in good enough shape, and you are fully aware of the work involved, then go for it... I've looked at them over the years and think it would be a cool build... I always thought a 60 degree V-6 & 5 speed would be a great fit...opelgt.com is a great site to learn from...

Thanks for the comments, This project would be something that I would not do for the money, I find these cars dirt cheap all day long, and some have had better lives than others... Part of me wants to do a ITB setup on a V-6, heck I have an old Isuzu 1.8L carbed that I have read several people get 300whp...

You might have a GM V-6 that they shared with Isuzu Trooper at one time... Might be worth checking into... I've read they can make power like that.. And ITB would be wicked.....

I've always wanted to pro tour one as well!
I too think Eco tech six speed, probably not much tire room up front. Maybe a 245 if lucky with a custom front clip.

I like 240Zs but they have been done many times.

A Pro-Touring Opel with a Turbo Ecotec from a Sky woud be very cool.
