Yeah...that was a close one. LOL!!!

Thank you again Scott, I must have told everyone here at GM about the 2010 Camaro I got to drive. And yes....very bummed that I couldn't stay since I've never actually watched any road course action before, let alone driven on one.

Does anyone have additional pics/vids from the Motorstate Challenge weekend? I have my 'inventory' of pics...but always looking for someone else's camera-work.
      Thanx,

      Hi Matt

Thanks for posting the Video. Is is fun for me to see where I missed marks and went off. I must say not quite as impressive as driving but lots of fun to watch.
Can I down load it from Y-Tube or can you e-mail me a copy? I want to see it on my TV at home.

      Thanks again Matt

Did you watch the same video? LOL I thought the driving was great, you were on the edge most of the time, or over it!

Were you able to download it? If not send me your email via PM.

LOL..I watched the video. That was the cool down lap that he caught up with me on. He did have faster lap times than me though. That is running on the ragged edge. And that is doing it with a car he has to drive home. The cars were spaced so that hopefully they get clean timed runs with no interference from other cars. That is a fearless driver...

Just had to have a little fun with you Charlie! (sure you lifted...) I kept watching the car in the distance and everyone must have been pretty close in that group for no one to run up on another car in a 8 or 10 minute session is pretty unusual. I've had guys I lap in a 20 minute session. (and have been on the other end of that too with a full race car out in the run group with street cars)

I am not fearless. The gas was stuck!!!!! I had a hard time catching Charley even on the cool down lap, That is why it look like it is at speed. I just thought it would be cool to pull up along side Charley and give him the thumbs up. It was a huge honer to be on the track with such good people and machines.
I am still amazed at how much fun I had that day. Randy

The last 19.9 miles is what left the clean spot at the top, lol. I was getting rid of sand that was hiding when I pulled the clutch out.

I would still go back to the dunes but the minute the sky looks threatening and the wind is up I'm out of there like Charlie and Mark did before it all hit.
