Since we had 2 other shows last weekend in Minnesota and Kentucky, I had almost decided not to go until around 4:00 Friday afternoon. Todd Green from Firestone was here that afternoon and had not been to one of these events so we loaded up and headed north. So glad I did...it was a blast as usual, especially since I didn't haul home a CARcass this year!
Also...the Firestone guys had a great time...they'll be back for sure. They had an 04 Corvette for this trip but are working on a 69 Camaro with our ridetech system on it. Look for it at RTTH in Sept.

Anyone got shots of the charger carnage? Feel free to post if you do, this is reality, things go wrong sometimes. BTW, we got home just fine with it. 1515 total miles, some more abusive than others..haha The only real issue was the wiper motor decided to stop, and with the storm we encountered in Indy, that was not a good thing. Thank goodness for Rainx.

Nice group of pics Herb. How do you find time to take 230 pictures?
You notice the one finger salute as you drove by? See you in a couple of weeks at VIR.

Mark was driving at the time. We had a brake knock back issue on the front and no brakes going into a major turn. I was passenger, wild ride but no real damage. Ruined a tire that had debeaded. Got it back together though and no more issues so all is fine. Drove the car home, ordered ZR1 hubs today, should solve any future issues.

Holy smokes Bill! Glad all is well- that's some scary stuff!

I see you had to clean mud off the side of the car. Did you have anything to clean off the passenger seat?

I don't know, someone said his name was Steve, then he corrected me and said it was Scott but then I just looked at his signature and it says Steve. I think y'all are messing with me. LOL! Anyway that was really cool of him and it was much appreciated.
Hi Tony it was great meeting you at Motorstate, wish you could have stayed longer. Anyway to set the record straight, that was not my 2010 that you drove, it did belong to Scott (but I don't remember his last name sorry) We both had gray 69 Camaros there so thats probably how the confusion started.

Anyway I thought I should set this straight before my wife heard that I let someone drive my girlfriends 2010 (thats the way I heard it) to the cruise.

ouch, just an fyi - the zr1 (skf) hub extends the service interval, but they still fail. Vette guys are still changing them regularly. Have you run the car a lot with slicks?

I should have the new zr1 hubs tomorrow, thanks to Jeff Tate. I understand that I am stress testing the hubs as they were never designed to haul the boat I call a charger and its weight. I have not been on slicks but have had toyo888 at OUSCI last year and KDWs on it for over 6000 miles, both highway and track.

Damn, glad it was nothing bigger, no brakes in some 'major' corners could get real ugly!

Well then I must have been high on exhaust fumes. Apologies all around. What is Scott's screen name, does anyone know?
