The 2010 Motor State Challenge
Pro-Touring and G-Machine Gathering – June 18-20, 2010

Motor State Distributing, Lane Automotive and Allstar Performance Products will be hosting the 2nd Annual “Motor State Challenge” on June 18-20, 2010 in Watervliet, MI.
Scheduled events will include facility tours of Motor State Distributing, a cruise through the back roads and along the winding coast of Lake Michigan, followed by a cookout dinner at Warren Dunes State Park in Sawyer, Michigan, road racing at Gingerman Raceway in South Haven on Saturday, and a timed autocross to wrap up the event on Sunday at the Lake Michigan College parking lot.


Below is the schedule of events with approximate times.

Friday, June 18
12:00 – Check-In Opens / Driver Packets Issued
12:00 – 3:00 Motor State/Lane Automotive Facility Tours
3:15 – 3:45 Drivers’ Meeting
4:30 – 5:30 Cruise through the country and along Lake Michigan Shoreline (Approx. 40 Miles)
6:00 – ? – BBQ at Warren Dunes State Park (Sawyer, MI)

Saturday, June 19
8:00 – 5:00 All Day Event at Gingerman Raceway (Road Course) in South Haven, MI.

SATURDAY SCHEDULE
7:30 AM-8 AM MSC/SCCA Staff Meeting
8:00 AM to 8:45 AM Registration and Technical /Safety Inspection

-MORNING SESSION
9:00 AM Drivers Meeting
9:30 AM First Cars Off – Two 10 Minute Practice Sessions For All Groups

11:30-12:30 PM -Lunch

-AFTERNOON SESSION
12:30 PM to 3:30 PM Three 10 minute Qualifier Sessions

-TIME TRIAL COMPETITION
3:30 PM to 4:00 PM QUICK 16 Qualifying Times


Sunday, June 20
8:00 – 4:00 Autocross, Lake Michigan College Parking Lot (Benton Harbor, MI)
Competition will begin at 9:00 and continue until 4:00. Awards for the event will be handed out at the conclusion of the Autocross event.
Relay for Life Team will be selling breakfast and lunch on-site.
