      MMCC TV Schedule

For those who get Fox Sports Net, the Midwest Muscle Car Challenge is scheduled to air on June 20th at 11:00 AM. I am assuming that this is eastern time, but I am including a link to Masters Entertainment as well. You can also purchase a copy of the show for $25.00.

I saw it. You were on their briefly working on your car. You said something about "the fun of working on old cars." But they were going to commercial and playing music over it.

I posted in the other thread about it. We DVR'd it and watched it. The show wasn't that impressive. It was almost all about the "show" part of the event Sunday. Not much on the event. But I guess it is called the Mothers Car Show Series, so it shouldve been expected. I definately wouldn't reccomend anyone spend the $25 on buying the show DVD from Mothers. However I am glad that Brett or Jimmi (or whoever it was) did get the TV coverage there!
Maybe I was dissapointed about the tv show because the event was just so freaking cool!

I caught the replay yesterday afternoon on Fox Sports Midwest. What a waste of time. I have never seen a television production so thoroughly misrepresent the event it had advertised to cover.

I can only liken it to sitting down to watch a heavyweight fight, and then have them broadcast the undercard, and then totally ignore the main event. Good thing this show wasn't pay per view.

I'm disappointed as a participant that so little emphasis was given to the heart and soul of the event, with almost zero coverage given to the roadcourse action on Saturday, and only small snippets of the autocross and speedstop challenge.

There were plenty of commercials built in, though.

The guys that should really be PO'd, though, should be the guys from ridetech and Bowler. They put on such an outstanding event, and the TV coverage really did a huge disservice to how awesome this event really was. This show does virtually zero in terms of promoting this event for future participants.

I mean no disrespect to the car show participants or their rides, but anyone actually in attendance knows that the car show was more of a sidebar and the track action was the real deal. The TV show almost paints the opposite picture.

I definitely would not spend the $25.00 for the DVD, if the TV show is any indication of what the DVD is all about.

To say that we were disappointed would be an understatement. The cars that were featured on the show certainly were worthy, but the shows producers obviously forgot why we brought their show there.
At this point I can only say that Scott, Jason, and George from our shop have enough footage to do a proper video, and will do so, and it will be in HD. It may be a couple of weeks away but it will certainly be more of what you are expecting.
      Thanks for your patience!
