      Msd 6al

      Does anyone know if I can use my HEI distributor with the 6AL????

      Im just wondering since the HEI distributor has an integrated coil pack.

      OH yeah...no problem.....the MSD will replace the module and use just the magnetic pickup in the dizzy....the rest stays the same. I'd upgrade the dizzy cap and rotor button (one with brass) and (higher voltage) coil while you're in there....

      It will wake that puppy right up and you'll notice that it will now rev past 5K without breaking up.
      1970 RS/SS350 139K on the clock:
      89 TPI motor w/ 1pc rear seal coupled to a Viper T56 via Mcleod's modular bellhousing w/ hydraulic T/O bearing from the Viper, 12 bolt rear w/ 3.73 gearing, SC&C upper control arms, factory lowers with Delalums, C5 brakes at all four corners, Front Wheels 17x8's with Sumi 255/40/17 and Rear Wheels 17x9's with Sumi 275/40/17.

      sweet cause I had found a good used one on craigslist that comes with a rev limiter, So now im pretty stoked on installing. I didnt feel like buying a seperate distributor or external coil.
