      My 1966 Lemans getting LSX

Hows it going everyone, Im finally making head way on my 1966 Lemans, it used to have a 468 BBC with a t400. I am dropping in a 2004 5.3 with a Thumpr Cam, double roller, TSP pulley, PRC heads, a LS6 intake, and the full swap kit with long tubes. I am running a Speartech harness, a rockvalley EFI tank. I picked up a Wilwood 6p front and 4 piston back. I got a Hotchkis TVS system, a full custom gauge set up with autometer guages, a 1999 Trans Am seats, with full power... She is going to be a sweet ride.. Its funny its a orginal 326 motor, thats why I went with the 5.3.. So I can keep 326 badges on the side

Here are some pics. I will keep dropping pics in. as I do other work.

All you guys doing these LS swaps makes me want to do one now, but alas the cash flow just doesn't allow for it at the moment, and honestly I wouldn't know where to begin, LOL. Looks good though, good luck and keep posting up pics!!

I added the 6 piston brakes up front and started tearing into the interior.. I also added a DSE brake booster... I got the full Hotchkis TVS system, Tubular upper and lower control arms, in and the rear wilwood in as well.. those will go in hopefully next weekend.

I have a question as you guys visit my updates, I have a question. I have the Wilwood big brake kit, and want to get a set of lowering spindles...does anyone know which ones work with what I have brake wise??

I too wanted the boss 18 inch on my 65 cutlass but they rub hard on the front inner fenders. I have even rolled and flattened the lip. I have disc and 2 inch drop spindles with ls1 power plant. I require a 5.25 inch backspace up front with a 8 inch rim to clear. Have you tested yours lock to lock yet? I'm currently running a 225/60R 16 tire which is 26.62 tall. Me also likes mucho side wall.

Looks good. Good luck with the upgrades.

Wow, this thread has been up 18 days and not one hateful Poncho Purist comment. That has to be a record!
