Upper part of the rad support:

      Welded

97% finished now. Some minor parts left, but I'll save that for later. Gonna start on the reinforcements that you can see is mocked up with blue tape in the pic below.

That support looks beautiful. Do you plan to shroud the fan on that bad boy?

Why is the rad on an angle? To minimise the height for packaging or for cooling puropose's?

Centerforce; it's prepared for a duct from the front to the rad. The fan will probably only be needed in 20MPH or less.
      Something like this:

If I cut a hole in the hood, I'll add an duct after the rad up to the hood too. Haven't decided upon that yet though. I like the Ram Air/Formula-hood and then there's no space for a outlet, but I also have a standard hood saved so we'll see what happens.

Peter; it's angled because of two reasons; As I wrote above, I needed room to build a duct after the rad and up through the hood. But I also wanted to make room above the rad support to be able to feed the engine with air directly from the grille. Right now, I'm not sure I'll do any of it though, lol. Just realized yesterday night that I probably could do a nice air channel from the windshield instead, and regarding the air channel I'm leaning towards a Formula hood.

      Gil: Thanks!
I did my SFCs like this: http://www.propontiac.com/subframeconnectors/

Perfect! We figured you probably had a plan for one, based off of everything in this build so far!

Since my new ECU (DTA S80 PRO) has a couple of good features compared to the old one (Electromotive TECII), I decided to add a cam-sensor.

      How it looked before:

      Index-thing...

      Mounted on the cam-wheel

      Reference on the front panel

Kind of nervous here. My mill has proved to have a insatiable hunger for aluminium. You never know if it decides to eat the entire part...

But it turned out good though

      Welded and final milling done

Painted... in cast iron grey. "just add lightness", lol.

      Assembled and done

Those are Luna, Swedish made and basically called "speed clamps". I like them for these kind of jobs where you don't put alot of load on the stock/part.

What benefits do you get from adding the cam trigger? Is it so you can run sequential injection?

Yes, sequential injection is the plan. I'm not into engines, but I have a friend who is. His argument (except for easier startup) is; emission/consumption, idle and low load(?) on the engine. On full throttle it doesn't really matter, but the engine runs smoother on cruising thanks to the possibility of finer tuned injector settings.
Again, I'm not an engine guy but I trust him.
