      Hello everyone!

In today's update we pick up a set CTS Spares - and test fit them on the Corvette/SS - and see if they will work out at a set of front skinnies.

      One more update for today!

I've had an adjustable suspension for a long time - besides adjusting ride height - I had never taken advantage of the adjustability of the system.

Following the manufactures settings for the coilovers - and the swaybars - I adjust the suspension setup in the video below:

Hello everyone - I have two updates for this week.

First - I have had really bad peeling headlights for a few years now - especially on the passenger side. The drivers side also has a nice rock chip as well.

So I picked up a set of Moriomoto LED headlights from Vette Lights.

Here is the install for the new headlights"

Second - I was up underneath a friends C6 Z06 and discovered that I was missing a cooling baffle that the wide body Corvettes came with.

My wide body conversion was done several years ago - and the parts supplier that I ordered the kit from didn't include the baffle - so I never knew it was missing or that the piece even existed.

In the video below - I fix the aero/cooling by installing that baffle.

Thanks everyone for all of your support!

Hey guys - it has been far too long since I made an update!

We have a ton of changes/updates for the Corvette - so much so that I'm starting a new build series.

I'm going to call it Build V4.0 - and we are going to have bunch of videos in this new series.

To kick off the series - we picked up a Tow Hook from Phoenix Racing.

This Tow hook is removable - and can be removed when you are not racing.

I picked up this tow hook because one day I am going to need it - and I would rather be able to get the car onto a trailer without screwing up the front end or any of the body panels.

For more information on the install - check out the video below.

      Thanks!

The second video in this V4.0 build series - is a manual fan controller.

I decided to pickup the Caspers Manual Fan Controller - so that I would be able to turn the fan on low/high when I am sitting in the staging lanes so that we can cool down the car.

When I ran my fastest time last year - my IAT's had dropped nearly 50* from the other runs - and that was just due to letting the car sit and cool down for a long while (about an hour or so).

So to help speed up this process - I picked up the Caspers Fan Controller.

Keep that Vette in original shape man.

In the third video of the Corvette upgrade series - we install a custom belly pan.

This is to help improve the aerodynamics under the car - as the C6 Corvette does not have any type of belly pan.

Using some 1/4 plastic from a local supplier - I cut out and install a custom belly pan.

For more details - check out the video below.

      Thanks!

In the 4th episode of this Corvette upgrade series - I decided to upgrade the slave cylinder by adding a Tick Performance Slave Cylinder Brace.

Since I was going to have to replace the clutch soon anyways - this turned out to be the perfect time to add this slave cylinder brace.

For more details - please check out the video below.

As mentioned in the previous post - I was going to be installing a new clutch.

The car is making 650 rwhp with the E-Force supercharger - and E85.

The last time I took the car to the drag strip - I overpowered the LS7 clutch and the car basically fried the clutch in the first two gears.

The LS7 clutch - while strong and affordable - obviously has it limits.

So I decided to go with a Mcleod RXT Twin Disk - now these clutches are good for 1000 hp - and drive like stock.

In the video below - I go over the install details and get the new twin disk setup.

Since the transmission was going to be out for the clutch install - I decided to install the Anti-Venom mod on the T56.

The Anti-Venom mod it to help reduce the notchiness of an aftermarket shifter - like the MGW shifter that I installed last year.

For a cheap and easy upgrade - it only took a few minutes to install.

For more information - please check out the video below.

Since the drivetrain was going to be out - I decided to tear down the torque tube - and install a Driveshaft Shop Carbon Fiber drive shaft.

I mostly wanted to inspect the factory drive shaft - and the bearings.

The bearings turned out to be - but I wanted to eliminate the weak rubber couplers - so we went with the Carbon Driveshaft that eliminated the rubber pieces.

Since I had to drop the drivetrain for the clutch install - as well as remove the full exhaust.

I decided to take the Kooks headers to a local shop - Calico coatings applied their ceramic coating to the headers.

Hopefully this will help reduce underhood temperatures - and also help lower IAT's as well.

If you guys saw that clutch install video - you will know that I mentioned that I had dropped the transmission.

As I was moving the transaxle into the third bay - my transmission jack caught one of the lines in the concrete driveway and fell over.

When it fell over it smashed the hell out of the Z06 differential cooler - as well as the piping.

Thankfully I had a ZR1 cooler on hand - and was able to replace the parts at no extra cost to me.

For more details on the install - check out the video below:

I got the transmission, the clutch, and all the drivetrain components installed back in the car.

After fixing up the differential cooler - it was time to move to the powertrain side of the car.

To help make the E-Force more efficient - I decided to install an E-Force Camaro lid to help gain more volume above the intercooler.

Similar to the ZL1 lid swap on the CTS-V - those cars make an additional 20+ HP at the crank just due to a larger supercharger lid.

A member on Corvetteforum did a similiar swap on his Magnuson supercharger - and he picked up an additional 1.5 PSI of boost.

So I reached out to Edelbrock - and purchased the Camaro lid. For more details on the install - please check out the video below:

Alright - I know I have posted a ton of videos today - this will be the last one for today.

We are finally back up to speed on all the updates on the Corvette!

After installing the Camaro lid - and doing some break in driving on the Corvette - I actually blew out the rear main seal - more details on that repair will be in a future video.

To help prevent that from happening again - I picked up an Elite Engineering Clean Side Oil separator.

For more details on that install - check out the video below:

      Hello everyone!

In this week's Corvette update - we install a new radiator and cooling fan setup.

With the car having a positive displacement supercharger - the engine cooling system is going to need all the help that it can get.

So a larger capacity all aluminum Mishimoto radiator as well as a set of Prospeed Cooling fans - where installed.

Hello everyone! In today's Corvette update - we open up the front of the E-Force supercharge snout to fit a 102mm TB.

With the larger throttle body - it was necessary to hog out the front of the snout to fit the larger throttle body.

For more information please check out the video below!

Hello everyone! Another Corvette update for today - we removed the deadhead on the back of the passenger side fuel rail.

To make sure there are no fueling issues in the last cylinder on the passenger side - we add a Y block - and add some -6 AN fuel line to the back of the passenger side.

In todays update - we are going to do a 2 for 1 post!

In this first video we create a new intake for the Corvette.

With the bigger TB - I wanted to remove all restrictions that the Edelbrock setup created.

So I started with a 4.5" bend from Vibrant - and went from there creating a new intake.

For more info please checkout the video below:

In the second video - we take our intake pipe up to Mass Acceleration Motorsports to get the LS7 style MAF sensor bung welded - as well as finalize the intake setup.

Hello everyone - sorry for the long delay- it has been a crazy busy summer.

Picking back up on the Corvette build:

First update - we upgrade the Heat Exchanger water pump on the Corvette - I had the Bosch OEM style pump but those are undersized and underpowered for this application.

So in this episode - we install an EMP Water pump:

      Second update:

In a previous episode -we had installed a set of Hinson motor mounts. At the time on the install I didn't realize that they could be prone to failure due to heat - so I picked up a set of Hinson engine mount heat shields - and install them in this episode:

      Third update:

After we got the car back together - I went for a test drive and ran into a huge problem. I ended up blowing out the rear main seal - and had to tear the car apart and replace it.

      Last update:

Continuing the problems from the last episode - we ran into a huge problem(s) on the dyno: including fuel pressure drop, a Hobbs switch failure, and a TB failure:

Thats going to be it for the Corvette updates - I actually kicked off a build on the SS - I will post those videos shortly.

I am currently working on the Corvette right now - and will get back to posting videos about those projects very soon.
