I really do like this car too, it brings back the best of memories. This car does look like every car in the neighborhood where I grew up. Flares, slots (or Cragers) setting way too high. All it really needs is an Easter egg paint job and it would be perfect. Kind of went hand and hand with the Gasser era in my opinion. Ron

Widebody Superbird Duster anyone? I know I have way too much time on my hands when I draw these things up... But I think I'm gonna build this one.

J Bittle was my best buddy in college (Texas A&M). The legend and stories still live on to this day in the Texas A&M Sports Car Club... J had a 1967 Shelby GT500 with a Tunnel Port 427 and I had a 1965 Corvette Convertible with a 365hp/327 4-speed, 4.11 setup...

I've blasted all around Southern California in that car... It was a blast!!

Here a few pictures of our adventures...

Here's a photo shoot we went to in Los Angeles for Popular Hot Rodding (taken at dusk when the lighting was JUST right)...

Here's another photoshoot we had for another magazine on Coronado Island with the Dominator GTA and GTB (GTA was their first widebody and the white GTB was their second widebody)...

Here we are at El Cajon Dragstrip flogging the car...

      VERY COOL CAR!!
