Also got rid of the v-belts and went with an 8 rib setup from CVF, and swapped the Powermaster for a Mechman alternator

Very nice looking car. I always preferred the Firebirds to the Camaros in that era.

If I might suggest, next time you have the grill off, a little flat black on those cooler line fittings behind the bird emblem and they disappear, no longer to distract from the nose.

yea - true - it’ll probably be awhile before that happens. I might try a little bit of loom on them
      Thanks!

Good to see an update on this build! Looks like you have put a lot of work into that interior and it is looking great.

Also, that is an intense serpentine belt!

Thanks! It's from CVF Racing - I figured if I was going to do it, might as well go with the 8 rib setup

More updates - My trans was grinding under hard shifts from 1st to 2nd, so I pulled that out and sent it off to Tick for their level 2 rebuild and new bearings. They also had to replace 2nd and 6th gear, and 5th gear synchro assembly. I'm thinking a Supercharger is going to be the next upgrade. Pics soon....

One Torqstorm Supercharger, Installed. First run on the dyno yielded 512hp/580tq at 5psi. That's a solid 100 on both over NA. I'm running Water/Meth as well. I think it's got a little more in it.

A few more mods - I made some cover panels, swapped out to a bigger air filter, made a hole in my inner fender, and created a heat shield over the header on the passenger side - trying to keep the IATs lower

No complaints so far, it does what I need it to do. I’ve got the 3.1 pulley on it on my 461 and I’m
at about 4K altitude. Seeing around 5psi

Very nice upgrade! I've heard a lot of good things about the Torqstorm units. Did they provide the serpentine belt setup or is that something you had before?
