Mallory Max Fire?
I currently have some cheap distributor on my 351w crate engine, the motor is claimed to have 500 hp, but it feels like 200. Everyone is saying its my distributor. Basically will I notice a big difference with the Mallory if it is set-up and tuned right.

Why do you say that? Mallory makes some quality stuff. I'd start by diagnosing the problem. Pull your spark plugs and see how they look first. Are you experiencing a misfire? Have you checked the timing?
