I don't want to hijack this thread, but has anyone come across low profile sport seats with harness provisions?

I bought some Procar seats but the back was way too tall and looked terrible in the car.

Rob, which procars did u buy? I'm worried about a tall seat too, I like the old school shorty seat but want something I won't be sliding all over in.

They were the Scat/Procar Sportsman seats - Scat/Procar 80-1606-61L - Scat Procar Sportsman Racing Seats

Not a bad seat for the price, but way too tall with the bracket and sliders. I could have modified the brackets and sliders, but decided to return back and look for a set that would fit better from scratch.

Any one can add some more pics and idea's, I am also in the hunt for a front bucket seat, something not too tall as well.

Another set of 4th gen seats

I would have to second the thought of the 4th generation seats. Very comfy.

Mine are out of a 2000 firebird and I got the idea from a writeup on a different 68. Year One was exclaiming how well these worked and looked. I found a set off ebay cheap ($200) and had them recovered in leather to match the back that was narrowed to fit around the mini-tubs.

The seats are black leather with dark graphite gray inserts. They look much less gray in person (black and slightly less black). Sorry they are filthy in the pics, but they look great clean. I just eliminated the headrests since they just looked to tall in the car.

Having 6 way power adjustable seats as opposed to just a slider is much, much better (street car anyway). And they recline too. I replaced the seat track trim that was scratched. Still on the shelf down south in a dealership, but they are getting harder to find since the swap is getting more popular. The front brackets would have bolted right in, but you have to add small extensions to the back. Very easy swap.

Anyone tell me what the height and how wide the GTO seats are?

I Installed some late model GTO seats into my Monte Carlo SS.
I built some custom brackets to bolt to the stock seat mounting points, with minimum mods to the stock seat rails.
They are some of the most comfortable seats I have sat in.
I also added an extra 2" of legroom by setting them back from the stock location.

Here's the ST2 in comfortweave and houndstooth. Of course, we can upholster them however you would like. We should have another model seat that is 2-3" shorter by summer. Our seats sit lower to the floor and can add legroom as well.

Foose uses Cobra seats. Think they are cut down and then recovered. Look at Corbeau, they have some low backs that are real nice. Im in the same position and looking for low back and practical.

Looked at the Corbeau's but the shortest I could find were 34" tall, which is still too tall.

Does anyone here have Sparco R333 seats in a first-gen Camaro? If so, how do they fit? I'm concerned because I'm tall and would need to be able to wear a helmet. Thanks!

Received my Recaro Specialist seats a couple of weeks ago from Recaro-Max. Anyone looking for recovered Recaro's in whatever you want, this guy is legit. Staying in contact with me the entire time and payed via PayPal so was pretty easy.

Seats look great and I even bought some additional matching leather for the rear seat when i get to that point. Came out awesome! I just ordered the Wedge brackets so once they come in I'll be able to do a test fit and see if we need to make any adjustments. These are going into my 69 Firebird project.
