      GXSMAX 1970 Buick GSX

I would like to share my new project with you by posting the before pics.I have purchased StreetComp-AFX package with tall AFX spindels, aluminum steering arms, ProLite upper control arms, SPC Performance series lower control arms, Baer Pro Plus 14", Chris Alston shocks W/ SPC springs and Lee 670 Steering box. The chassis will be a highly modified stock unit boxed and stiffened with DOM tubing and feature a 3 link rear clip with coilovers. Drive tran will consist of Buick 523 CI stage2 aluminum head with solid roller, T56 6 speed trans and ford 9" rear. Wheels will be Rushforth Whiplash 245-40-19 front and 315-35-20 rear. I have contacted Jason and he is in the process of doing a rendering for me. I fact he has done preliminary drawing and it is awesome cant wait for the final drawing. I will post as soon as he completes it. Time frame is to have complete by this time next year. Will begin to mock up front end next week and as soon as that is complete I will start boxing in frame and doing mods.

      AWESOME!!

Cool project! I really like these cars...

That engine should have plenty of motivation... just try to keep the weight of the car down. These cars are pretty hefty...

Will you be running the GSX spoiler in back?

I had a 455 '70 GS convertible so your thread caught my eye.

Looking forward to see your build progress.

This is a draft of my rendering. The motor is lighter than a chevy 350. The whiplash wheels are smoked titanium.

Trying to keep the GSX alive and breathing in Pro touring crowd. This is actually a 1971 clowned as a 1970. will keep you posted as it transforms into one bad ass Buick pro touring car.

As an A-body guy I always wanted to do my 70 Chevelle, my cousin's '69 Hurst Olds, a 69 Judge, and a 70 GSX.

I can't wait to see the build complete. I had thought about a doing a metallic yellow maybe the S2000 yellow pearl the color turned out really nice on a friend's C4 Corvette, and BMW cosmos (metallic) black for the stripes. I like you're thinking.
