I won't argue that black looks awesome though.

Just depends on how much of a work-to-play ratio you can handle.

Have any of you owned a black car before? That s**t is downright frustrating... sure it looks good for about an hour after you wash it.

Yup I have, still own my old Monte Carlo in Black with Orange Rally Stripes. It shows dirt quickly, and it shows swirl-marks like crazy, but when it's clean and swirl-free, it's all worth it....

Every color has its downsides, and to keep all of them properly clean takes the same amount of work, just as well go with what looks best That being said, I do like a good two-tone, and with pewter/silver/tan/etc on the sides and black on top, it shows very little dirt and looks great.

I love black, have 2 black cars, but black Camaros seem to be overdone.

How about as dark as you can get metallic grey? Then flat black stripes. Still agressive, but different than everyone else.

My thoughts would be a medium silver with fade on lower side to darker gray then use a silver or white mica "pearl" coat over it all and maybe a carbon fiber look nose stripe like stock or even carbon fiber SS stripes.

Have you thought about a deep red? There is a hot Lexus color that Im in love with...Its a hot color....

The picture doesnt really do the color justice...
Are you dead set on the stripes? Maybe you could do a two tone scheme?

Allways a hard choice but love the blue one with those wheels black always looks awsome to me. Dont know what it is but it must just be me cause my wife dont like black rides weather it be my harleys or my cars.

Yes, its Cadillac black diamond with a little blue added to give it a deeper black
