Hi Vince,
doing good here. Now you want to remove or find a box? Remove, pop the pitman arm(easier on car sometimes),disco the rag joint and undo the bolts to the frame.Becarefull on the last step, gravity usually takes over.MrQuick ΜΟΛ'ΩΝ ΛΑΒ'Ε

well the front end is already apart so are the frame bolts. so i just need to remove the pitman arm and rag joints?

remove the steering wheel,remove the steering column cover completely,
after that you can remove the steering box after removing the pitman arm of course.
the steering box of a 1962-1966 extend up to the steering wheel due to a very long shaft that is part of the box.
