Which brand are the glass fenders? How was the fit and finish?

Putting a BBF in mine, so wouldn't hurt to get some other weight off the front of the car.

      Sweeeet ride!

      thanks Windsor,

I got mine from unlimited products and the hood is crites. The fit is good after you spend 9 hours a fender to make them fit. i still need to fiberglass some studs on there so i can get the correct profile.

again welcome to the site, i saw your other post too. Good luck with your project. and post some pics!

cool man, thanks for the info. I haven't heard good things about Unlimited Products....maybe that 9-hours is testament to that? Are they supposed to be "bolt on"?

Crites, on the other hand, is supposed to be the Holy Grail of Ford repro fiberglass.

i dont think they are bolt on, all holes need to be drilled and mold lines need to be ground off. The crites hood need a little work. But i got if 80% aligned and installed in less than two hours.

funny, it looks like it will fit perfect. Where are the issues, not long enough, etc?

the width of my fenders is wider than the valance. and i cant move the fenders in at all. the grill determines the width of the fenders. also i need to tweak it a little while mounting it so the profiles are correct.

so new idea to make the valance fit. cut it in the middle and mount both sides individually. fill the center gap with a piece of aluminum 19" wide. the will transition nicely into the radiator and look functional is it would be forcing air into the radiator.

      windsor,

just for you. I put the front valance on this weekend. i have to split it in the middle. its the only way to line them up with the fenders. Each side is mounted on brackets. I still need to fill the gap in the middle. I will get some pics up here soon. But it looks great.
