Another recommendation for McMaster. Great selection, several warehouses. ALWAYS ship same day if in stock. One day shipping to most locations.

I have found stainless buttonheads at Home Depot, Lowe's and Ace Hardware stores.

If you are in san diego, Marshalls Hardware has everything. McMaster is on the high end of the price range but they do have everything.

I've bought from McMaster dozens of times. Never disappointed.

      Highly recommended.

I'm in the same boat (big azz wheels). The bolts needed are a 5/16-18, 3/4" long button head Allen screw right?

BTW - Lowes sucks, they didn't have any in steel, stainless, or any other material.

Fastenal or McMaster Carr are where i have been going lately for stainless.

Fastenal can be ridiculously cheap on some of ther stainless if you buy 50-100 pcs depending on the size of the bolt or screws.

I recently bought the shrink clamps for my radiator hoses from McMaster and they were almost 40% less than anywhere else and I had them the next day. The shipping was $4 and all I did was spend 5 min. on the web site. so they can be cheaper. Especially on stainless or aluminum fittings and i don't know anywhere else that has the aluminum pluming fittings at all.

      I vote for McMaster-Carr !

Lowe's is inconsistent from store to store. I bought all my hardware including button heads at one and the new store recently opened near work has very little. My good local hardware store has a great stock. I like Fastenal except they're not open saturdays.

Fastenal hooked me up. They had STAINLESS in stock. Got a bag of 50 for $14. Turns out that I get a discount using my corporate account, even though its for personal use. Woo-hoo!

If you are or know somebody from the Sacramento, CA. area there is a store called Blue Collar Supply. They carry nothing but bolts, washers, nuts and misc steel and aluminum scrap pieces cheap. The greatest thing about this place is they sell hardware by the pound. I have a bunch of containers that I fill from this place when I get low.

For those wanting button head or flush mount fender lip mounting bolts, these from Billet Specialties are awesome:
