My fiance started a facebook page for the Camaro last night. I'm going to try my best to keep everyone up to date with it.

      https://www.facebook.com/duramaxcamaro

Drake at Total Performance Diesel is having a dyno day in March, and the NHRDA is having their season opener at Famoso Raceway in March and I plan on attending both events. We'll see how the next couple months pan out for me and if I will be ready in time.

      It's a 47rh out of a '95 dodge with a 12 valve cummins diesel.

I would like to say thanks to Diesel Army Magazine for recognizing all my efforts on the Camaro.

I was finally able to take my Dad for ride in the Camaro for the first time in 7 years. Thanks to Tony for filming.

Still have only a 40hp tune loaded on the motor, and it burns the tires into third gear. I wish someone would have filmed the dough nut we did when I drove back to the shop...

This is a similar video to what I've posted before, but still thought you would like to see it.

      Weight distribution?

Interesting build! Do you have any idea regarding the weight distribution with that big lump of an engine being pretty far forward? I take it you will need pretty sticky tires and/or a well prepped strip to hook it up! Looking forward to seeing the end result!

I’m sure the weight distribution isn’t great. Probably 60/40 or worse, but I honestly don’t care much. I originally intended the car to be more of a pro touring type of build but realized early on I wanted it to be a pro street car. I’m not much for corner carving, I like acceleration and funny car style burnouts. It does both of those just fine for me. At this point the car is about as “done” as it will ever be for me. I installed a larger turbo, much hotter tuning and a bigger down pipe recently. Planning on doing injectors this winter. I still need to finish the interior. But I mostly just enjoy driving it these days.
