I really had a great time at Gingerman!
My car wouldn't do very well on the track, but I sure enjoyed watching other people taking their turn!!!!!
Others have taken much better pictures than the ones I took of the road course action, so I won't duplicate those.

However, here are a couple of pictures of the car show.

Guys, Made it back about two hours ago. What a trip! Learned a ton. Autocross is hard stuff. Maybe after a couple of dozen I will figure out how it is done. Loved the road course. No doubt my Elky is way more capable than I am at low laps times. Nothing but fun. Thanks to all involved in putting this thing together. I will be back.
Elky ran flawlessly all the way home. No tickets. Total trip mileage was approx. 2300 miles. Really enjoyed meeting many new friends. And the cars were all off the chart.

      Great time!

I came down Saturday from our vacation in Harbor Springs and had a better time there than the "real" vacation! I was kicking myself for not having the beater wagon with me to knock around the track. I definitely plan to go up to a test and tune night at some point this summer. Thanks to all for a great event!

Wow, Mike great to hear you drove the Elky, you should be in the running for long distance award.
I saw a pic in Hot Rod? of you at Maxton. You're doing what it was built for.
I really hate that I missed this event. Looks like the best of the best was in attendence. Hope I can make RTTH.
Thanks to all for posting pictures for us stay-at-homers.

As a matter of fact we did get the long distance trophy Steve. You missed a great time. Now I have three days to recover and prep the car for Maxton. This time I have the "required safety equipment" to run flat out.
