Check www.baautox.com and there's a link at the top with American Autocross Series. Click on it and their website will tell you all about upcoming events in the Bay Area.

Hope to see you there ...

OK, after getting some advice from big brother Carl I am finally off the fence, resigtered and paid up!

I spent last weekend going over everything on the car, only found a couple loose header bolts. This morning i got an alignment. Tomorrow we are back to the tuner for final tweeking (mainly to remove programing for the 4l60). I will spend this weekend getting everything ready to join you guys and gal(s) next friday.

I am looking forward to this event. It will be my maiden track voyage, so all advice is welcomed.

I will miss all the good food, drink and trash talking on Thursday night but i look forward to hopefully more of it on Friday.

Mary and Dave I am particularly interested in finally meeting both of you since both of you have given me advice at one time or another; not to mention all the good things i have heard about both of you from others.

It lives on jackstands at the moment but he'll have plenty of opportunity to thrash on Penny plus ride shotgun with anyone else that wants some driving help.

      See everyone there ...

I'm going to come out as a spectator. At this point I don't have all day free so is there a best time to be out there?

      Thanks

Hopefully the attrition rate is the same as it was at Willow Springs in April.......

That goes for cars and drivers. For those not accustomed to heat (cars and driver) it's better to not push it in the hot afternoons.

Hopefully it will be a carbon copy of what the Streets of Willow event was: A day without attrition. Those that last will be going faster by the end of the day. It isn't as easy as it looks.

I have Dave N. asking what to bring for the BBQ. What's left?

EDIT: I've spent the last two days gutting the carpet out of the car. It sure does stink when the shifter leaks oil into the interior. Luckily, it went under the foil-backed padding and only wicked up the submarine belt.
