You're right Gil, I was still living in the past, I guess . . .

Haven't heared from the agent yet, just checked the vessel's journey and it was in Rotterdam June 12, so I guess we'll be hearing from our agent soon! I'll keep you informed.

Sometimes we have no choice Travis, maybe you'll have a Bird again one day...

René, share pics when you get it...

Gil, F'bird is in. It's in a (very) rough state. It runs (more or less), the subframe and all of it's components look rather decent for a 40 year old car but the bodywork will require lots of attention (lots of Bondo and other poor repair work). Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to take decent pics of it and my friend and his son have already removed the entire front clip. I'll keep you informed and will share pics as soon as I can.

BTW: I pointed Larry Callahan in your direction to help him out with a French Car magazine; https://www.pro-touring.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=58015

No problem René, that's good news.

I haven't begun to work yet, have a lot to do in my house before...

I'll probably take care of the gearbox next week...

I'll also try to find & buy this mag for Larry

Nice color, is that Orbit Orange? I've seen on another bird once. Good luck with your project!

      What project ?

      Hello David
nice to see french language too

Well, for now it's just big work in the house before in the garage...
      Haven't starded yet, it's a shame...

But in order of work, the project will be :

      - QA1 front to rase the nose a bit
      - Rebuild the gearbox to have a rear drive again
      - Long Branch Headers from RamAir
      - 2.5'' handmade full Exhaust System with Flowmaster Muffler
      - water/fuel lines check & change
      - SpeedTech Tubular lower/upper Control Arms
      - Full body & chassis work with probably a white color (sick of orange).
      - (Baer brakes full corners) or not
      - 17" or 18" Fikse Profil 5S (Charcoal center) & R888
      - Carbon fiber top layer and fiberglass underside hood & trunk
      - Fesler Billet Hood/Trunk Hinges & brushed Hood-Latch from Hood-latches...
      - (Minitub) or not
      - SpeedTech Torque Arm Rear Suspension

I think it'll be done in two years I hope & try to have her drivable all the way...

      Well, that's my wish...

Thanks Traven, I think it's more or less a 70' GTO Orange... I was thinking to change it when I'm doing the body, but I'm not sure I will change... Maybe just paint the hood, trunk & tail in mat black would be nice...

      Awesome looking car.
I love the color, also. Was that a GTO Judge color?
