Here is my 1964 El Camino that I just picked up . The plan is either a 383 stroker with my TH350 or an LS1 with a 4l60E auto . Beyond that I am thinking a Ford 9 inch rear end , tubular upper and lower control arms , 4 wheel disks , Coil over front shocks , bigger front sway bar , ad a rear sway bar , Lowered with 275/40-17 rears and 245/45-17 fronts . I haven't found rims that will fit that are off the shelf so first up is saving a few bucks for a set of custom built wheels . All I need now is time and money ;)

May be selling my wheels and tires for a different set theyre 18s been on my 67 for couple years now theyre budnik fontana 18x8 in the front with 245-40-18 and 18x10 in the rear with 295-35-18 paid over $3200 back then lookin to get $2500 for them if i sell em should fit perfect on all 64-72 a-body cars.

(put a rear sway bar on it last week so that crazy body roll out back should be gone)

18" wheels and tires are on the way so I can get some better grip.

Some updated pics right after the 418 LS3 swap...I have since cleaned up a lot of hoses and wiring under the hood again. I also swapped to a C&R radiator since the POS rndfab one couldn't even come close to keeping this thing cool.
