If you’re suggesting sending men with weapons of war to take my weapons of war, then I’m fairly certain that’s what’s called an act of war… and the definition of tyranny.which coincidentally is the reason for the second amendment to begin with!

I have not tried but was about to

try and call today. I see where you started a head count and I am #2 or 3. How many people do you think will be there? I am coming regardless.

So far we have 15 people and their friends and/or spouses.
So ' its really about 30 people.
BUT , it will get bigger !

Bill only had 14 cars and 25 people at the first Run Thru the Hills , and it grew .
      So....

I'm talking with Detroit Speed and Jason Huber ( G-Force Designs Concepts ) about coming too !
      It will be exciting !

Plus, I've got about 5 local people that are not Pro-Touring members that are coming.
I'm trying to recruit some new members.

I just went to the hotel an they are promising me that they will fix the problems we have been having with the reservation's
I changed the 1st part of this thread to the fix they say will work!!
I have 20 room's reserved for us but they said as of right now that there are 64 rooms available.

If you still have a problem ask for Meesha she is the guest services manager
She is the person i talked to today...

Thanks an sorry for the inconvenience.

I called today and they got me

set up without a problem. So where is the hotel in relation to what we will be doing? Any place to keep a car or trailer that is covered if a bad storm blows up?

I am coming from Charlotte. What is the best route as I will be coming down I-85.

Payton , there is a ton of trailer parking at the hotel.
We have the block of rooms on the ground floor overlooking the parking lot where the trailer parking is.
The hotel is kinda' in the middle of the events.
It's 5 miles south to the Autocross , 20 miles north to the Dragstrip , 12 miles east to David's shop at his house , and 3 miles south to David's other shop in town.
The parking lot is well lit.
And it's adjacent to the local science museum.
So , there's good security around.

      I was more concerned with

a thunder storm or hail storm and my car being out in the open at night.

I will see if I cannot work on an enclosed trailer just in case. Sounds silly but I would rather have my car stolen then have it beat to poop in a hail storm.

You can park it indoors at David's Shop (at his house).
He has an eight bay shop , another two bay paint shop , and a two car garage.
