edelbrock headers and plates? 1st gen camaro

Does anyone have any install pictures of the edelbrock headers and mounting plates in a first gen camaro or a 68-72 nova? I have found pictures of them (the individual pieces) but none with them installed in a car. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the PM Fabian, will remember that. I am curious about ground clearance and header clearance around the steering box. I am considering them for a stock subframe/steering box car. Might have to call Edelbrock, there are quite a few A-body pictures floating around but haven't found any camaro stuff yet.

I have some photos with the engine in the car but no headers yet.

Dont mind the screwdriver for an engine mount bolt, thought it'd be cool but decided it might not hold the engine in very well....

I would also be interested in these pics. I'm header/mount shopping and these are a listed option.

yeah its pretty close, took a small prayer to get it in there without scratching anything. (last time I do a "finished" firewall) I do believe the Hooker set-up is even tighter....

69importkilla, which plates are the ones in your pictures? What headers are you going to run with them. Thanks.

Currently I have the Edelbrock plates installed. I also plan on running the Edelbrock's headers also

I do have the Hooker mounts but they are about the same as these. I changed my BBC for a LS2 and the transmission staid in the same place! So basically the Hooker mounts put the engine in the same place as the old school Chevy engines.

I had the hooker plates, and the edelbrock plates side by side, the hooker plates will put it about 3/4" farther back. I had the motor in the car at one time with hooker plates, and it was about as close as you could possible get without hitting the firewall.

Yeah the hookers really push the engine back farther, a little too much for my comfort (well in my application). Cant wait to see how the edelbrock headers fit...
