Wish I still had my 1971 Buick Skylark, beautiful car.
I always tell others to take the high road, that way there's more room for me on the low road

Size: 204.6 KBJust bought this three weeks ago. Ordered a level 2 ridetech coilover kit w/musclebars and a Wilwood four wheel disc conversion. Shopping for fuel injection and other goodies. I will send pics of build as it progresses. Off to route 66 swap meet for parts hunting.

nice car, took a while for the 88s and 69s to grow on me, as i never really liked the slanted down tails..
      checkout v8buick.com and bpg

But always wondered, does it actually say GS on the title? or just skylark?
I know the vins designate if its a GS or not, just never knew if the title did also

for fuel injection, go holley hp or dominator depending if staying N/a or forced induction..
      Also check out Pantera EFI

cheapest pro-tour adequate efi tank would be an 86/87 GN tank via only AM motorsports due to baffling
      http://www.ebay.com/itm/17-Gallon-Ga...ef696f&vxp=mtr

best would be vaproworx tank in middle would be aeromotive phantom

bought the car out of NY haven't received the title yet. I just have a registration with a vin#. I will probably go with the holley system unless I get silly. Love that procharger power. I'll run rails a throttle body and a blow thru mass air meter then. Check out Pro-M's efi system for a big block Buick. I'm going to run a aeromotive tank. As for the looks of the 68-69 it's good to be different. thanks for the info.

I'll be able to contribute to this thread shortly. I'll start working on a 68 GS350 we've had sitting around for years. It's finally going to be its turn to shine, hopefully it will be done before the Del Mar Goodguy's in April 2015.

You are correct. I was a little skeptical at first when there was no title just a registration. Especially when I Flew to Buffalo and drove the car back with a set of Ill. plates from my Mustang (which were expired.). I will find out what it comes back as after titling and registering the car in Illinois.
