Had a '70 455 GS convertible. Buick's have almost always had great style. Mine would have looked much better lowered like this one.

Well, the link shows the 455 break down. IT had 89k on the 455 and the only problem was the timing cover, it will need to be replaced. I found a shop locally that has the equipment to balance the bottom end. The usual stuff for a twin turbo 455 on spray, forged pistons, stage 1 valves ect... Should put out close to 600HP if use the after market heads. Followed by a 2004r trans and 3.73 gears. Not sure of which brand of suspension but it will need to adjustable so i can get it hook right. Brakes, Bear or something 11's, 12's not too big. Tires, probably 315/35-17 on back and 245/45-17 front on a classic style rim. It may require mini tubs to fit the 315's, I don't want to get into the frame. It has rust issue and lots of bondo so new paint is in order. Red two stage paint my truck is almost the same color it's 2006 #74 Victory Red. The work will be done in three stages 1: engine an transmission 2: paint, interior and wheels 3: rear-end brakes and suspension. hopefully this order will keep the down time short a couple of weeks for each phase. So, the details will be pre-planned. 6 months to a year of prep for two weeks of work sound about right. Some times the lead time on hard to get parts may be a month or more. Well, then we race!!

Love these cars. I'm still thinking of getting one some day because I'm tired of Chevelles and Pontiacs. Don't get me wrong, I love them but the Buicks aren't common and look fantastic as well.

All of the cars look great in this thread. Keep posting so people know there's more than chevies on this site
