      Door Mirrors

Went to the dealerships yesterday browsing for mirror options for my 69 1st gen project and I came upon a Acura NSX with door mirrors. After dealing with the salesman about the car and looking at the mirrors closely , I came to the conclusion that these mirrors would be a good choice or the Porsche 928 mirrors. Does anyone know what year the Porsche 993 mirrors would also be a good fit? Just looking my options now, my doors are bare and I have to get mirrors for the final mock up of the body shell done soon.

those are all nice choices but keep in mind the cost of replacment incase they are damaged or stolen. The 996 unit doesn't come as a complete unit (from factory) and is a 6 part set up. Total parts cost around $300 a side. If you can find one used,it be a better deal. Try ebay, they have several specialty salvage dealers there.

I put on a set of 993 mirrors about a year and a half ago, and it wasn't too hard. The base just needed grinding to fit the door of the 1st gen.
