I love the Pace car....this is my old '91 Convertible. I sold it a couple years ago to start my current '70 Camaro project.

Team Z tubular K member and a arms, 2" Racecraft drop spindles, Ride tech air struts up front. The rear is narrowed 3" on each side, ridetech shockwaves mounted inboard of the frame rails and BMR upper and lowers.

Guessing this qualifies as a Pro-touring build.

Bought it new in '93 and have been doing everything possible to squeeze every ounce of performance from it.
Have 2 young kids so progress is slow but I've been enjoying it along the way!
It's just taken 18 years to get it to this point!

Anyway, 'enuff talk, here are the pics!

I think I am going to have to take one of these on after I finish up my 69 firebird. I have owned 6 fox bodies and that is what I learned cars on. Sadly, I would be one of those dummies that puts a LS1 in a ford.

MY "drag" car is more P-T than drag and runs 17" fr500 wheels on the street, is minitubbed, and has turboed 408 and AOD. It has coilivers on all corners, tubular suspension, 13" cobra brakes up front and 12" disks in the rear capri body panels etc

not finished just yet but has ran 10.0 @ 140 and made 750hp at the tire, and cruised quite a bit even in the ugly state....

Pro-Touring is basically a road race car with softer suspension and air conditioning. In my opinion Griggs Racing builds the best stuff out there for making the Fox body cars handle properly.

Don't take me seriously, I'm really a pretty nice guy.

I think my car would be considered 'Novice-Touring'... The block is a DSS level 20 306 stroked to 331; the heads are AFR units opened from 185 to 205...

      Here’s mine

1987 LX. Parked it about 10 years ago after I lost 3rd gear when I hopped a curb on a lapping day. Due to some health issues I left it in the garage. Now that things have got better I’m putting back together. New transmission and some major suspension changes Are in progress. I’ve been waiting for some parts to clear customs so can put it on the ground. Also some fender flares are planned.Name: B744F719-F0D1-4BDE-A709-991BBD731B35.jpeg
