      oil pan on 502

Is gasket sealer required on this one piece gasket, and does anyone know where to find the torque specifications on the bolts?

      Thanks,
      Tom

You should only need to add a little slicon at the corners on both sides. Not to much of the black goo or you'll never be able to reuse the gasket if you ever need to remove the oil pan or timing cover.

As for torque specs about 15-20 ftlbs would do it. The gasket has anti squish steel spacers built into it so even if you do over torque the only thing your going to do is break a bolt.
