      ProTouring Dakota R/T

Here are some pics and video of my '98 Dakota R/T which I purchased new the summer of '98 when they came out. It's one of about 172 made, and was built April 16, 1998. I have purchased it new, and have all of the paperwork including window sticker.

It now sports a bunch of upgrades since I restored it last year:
R/T56 6-Speed Kit #1,Deep Amethyst (orig color), Rallye hood, Viper wheels Toyo 255/295R18, SRT8 seats, Hotckis TVS full suspension w/tuned Bilsteins, Sidewinder interior panels,ThorleyTriY & custom side exit exhaust, Alpine DVD/BT/IPOD.

And, of course, there is the 1971 Cuda I purchased back in '94, restored to ProTouring design last year ... the Maximum Overdrive Kuda.

Wow, there are some really cool cars in this thread. Here are two of our current projects.

The first is "E-Max", a 1970 Challenger 340 Six Pack T/A Clone with a full Hotchkis TVS plus subframe connectors and tubular A-Arms, Stoptech brakes, Forgeline wheels, Yokohama Neovas and more.

The second car is a '67 Coronet 440 4-Speed that we built with Steve Strope live on the asphalt at Mopars at the Strip. It's got our full TVS, plus Wilwood brakes, Bonspeed RodR wheels and Pirelli rubber. The car is going to be raffled off for a variety of children's charities at the 2010 Mopars at the Strip show.

That Hotchkiss Challenger looks eerily similar to the XV Challenger.....

I finally got these two together... it's always a problem having 2 cars and only one ass to put in the drivers seat.

Oh yea, I think it came out great. The detail work is great, everything lines up beautifully from panel to panel and I think it lends itself very well to the overall feel of the car.
