      Momo steering wheel questions

I've got a Momo Jet wheel on the way for my 69 Camaro. I need to adapt it to my stock, non-tilt column. Does anyone other than Momo make a column adapter that will work. I'm hoping to find one that is shallower and hopefully less expensive. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure that someone here used one of Grant's adapters to fit their Momo wheel a while back. I can't recall which adapter they used, though.

I currently have a Grant steering wheel installed on my Camaro AND I have a Momo Competition series wheel. I will try to install the Momo on the Grant adapter and let you how it goes.

No the Grant wheels are 5 bolt SAE while the Momo wheels are 6 bolt and come with metric hardware. The part number on the side of my Momo adapter box has part number 12114121113.

This part works in conjunction with a Grant hub adapter. It uses the splined steering shaft adapter and chromed bell from the Grant kit. The Momo part bolts to the three threaded holes on the Grant adapter. The steering wheel attaches to the Momo hub with six metric bolts.

Wait here. I'll try to locate the parts for sale on line.

      Well,
This doesn't look anything like what I got, but the specs are right (67-93) and it looks way less complicated than what I bought. The page says GM, Dodge, Jeep but their application chart confirms 67-93 GM

Apparently, this website is devoted to the grief of adapting a momo wheel to your car. I've never seen so may hubs. I have never purchased from them. Give them a call before you buy to confirm that it will work.

I was just going to machine one. If you have a buddy with a shop, you can make one for about $10 bucks.

      Steve;

Is there any way you can confirm that momo hub adaptor part #?

I looked at the site you linked and they dont have a part # anything like that available.

I also called another company and they dont have any momo part#s like that either.

The guy I spoke with said the part# is stamped in the black momo hub.

This is asking a lot I know but if you get a chance can you please look on the hub itself for a part#?

I am ready to buy the wheel and hub adaptor kit,so this would be a great help.

      Thanks,
      Ed

I have a 69 tilt column and bought the GM 2401 momo hub from Rhad Performance (shopmomo.com) about a year ago. The hub is about 1/4" more shallow than my old grant hub, and the momo hub looked/fit the column much better than the grant.

      That's the same guy.

      That's the momo wheel/hub.

It costs more here, but their description includes a picture of the momo box as well as the part #.
