      2009 Power Tour Autocross

We started doing the Street Challenge Autocross at the Power Tour in 2007 at the Evansville, In. stop. In 2008 it was in Ames Iowa. This year it will be at the kickoff party in Madison. http://www.ridetech.com/more/2009/05...wer-tour-2009/

I'll have the Velocity Camaro there with the new Rockland ZF 6 speed...anyone else game?

The Street Challenge Autocross [along with the drag race at Union Grove the next day] is being sponsored by air ride Technologies, Painless Wiring, and Peak Antifreeze.

BTW...if you register for the Power Tour you will get a free RideTech.com T shirt at our booth.

      See you there!

You can run with any tire, BUT...you must run with a 200 or greater treadwear tire to be eligible for prizes.

You have to be a registered participant of the Power Tour first. For that you can go to http://www.hotrod.com/2009powertour/index.html
to sign up, or register at the event. After that come over to the autocross area, do another short sign up, a short tech inspection and start having fun.
We will have several guys at the autocross and our booth to help with any tuning issues. Looking forward to seeing your car!

I can't seem to find any times listed.
Is it going on all day?
We are going for the "Long Haul" but want to make sure we show up early enough to get a chance to participate.

Bret, Awesome job on putting that course together. It was really fun and long. Lots of speed to be had. Traffic flow was great and course was really challenging. In the afternoon, when there were many more cars involved, the time to get in line and back on the course was really small and very efficient. Thanks Bret and all of Air Rides for putting on such a great autocross event. In spite of the little bit of rain, plenty of people go to be involved and make many runs.

We posted some video and photos last week from the tour. I don't think we followed through to getting a post here to share.
