      New guy from Upstate NY

Just a quick note to introduce myself to the list. I've been into cars for most of my adult life, but find I still learn stuff every day. I've had Camaro's, GTO's & 442's and the current car is a '68 Cutlass Convert. Its a somewhat stock retoration - 455 with a dual gate shifted th400, disk brakes, etc - all parts used in the resto are correct for a 1968.

I've always liked the pro-tournig look and philosophy and would like to get the Olds to pro-tournig status. I'm hoping to learn as much as possible from the site and will contribute were I can.

      Beautiful car.
My grandfather had a '69 442. That was my first experience at the incredible feeling of torque mashing you back into the seat. And man could that car smoke the tires.
