      210hp 327 comp. test

I have a 67 Rs with an original 210hp 327. I know very little of the history motor. I did a compression test and got an average of about 120psi. I know the spec is 150psi but here's my question; How bad is 120psi? Is 140 bad? Is 110 still good? If anyone can calibrate me on this figure, it would be appriciated.
      Thanks for your time, Jensen

The specs usually have a pretty wide tolerance. 140 after 30 years is actually pretty darn good imo. 110, ehh, certainly not the end of the world. If it's not blowing smoke I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Thanks for the input. As the engine doesn't smoke, I'm going to stick with my plan of enjoying the car as much as possible this summer (a few weeks between the freezing rain here in MA) and start to screw together a new motor in the fall.
      Thanks again, J
