Once the shaker is working and the rest of the intake is finalized, I will get it tuned. It's pretty fat at WOT right now. So between a tune and the cold air from the shaker I bet it will pick up 15-20rwhp.

That's great. IIRC earlier in this post you expected to get 420hp at wheels with this set up and you were dead on. Great job! I am sure you will pick a few more. How was the intake plumbed now?

I'm learning a lot!
I was going to keep the truck intake and VVT w the hopes of putting on a Magnuson in the coming years, but it looks like 500 crank horsepower is reachable w your mod formula and a tune.
tough to pass that up!

I was even looking at my Buick today thinking about going manual brakes.... I'm such a follower!

If you do my setup, just get a Magnuson kit for a Corvette down the road.

The man said he would get 420 horsepower to the wheels and he wasn't lying. Good numbers Andrew. I have a feeling that little mill has more to give up once it's plugged in at the tuner.

An LS7 would be nice, but I really don't see the need for all the dry sump stuff. This engine is making 90% of the power of an LS7 at half the cost. Originally Posted by Steve1968LS2
