Check out accufabs clam shell clamps. They look similar to the clamp you were looking for.

Hmm, interesting. Thanks for the info!

I will call them on Monday with some questions.

Look at the differences in these v-band clamps. My bet is on the middle one being the best. The one on the bottom is a cheap $28 e-bay job but then he tries to hit you with $10 shipping.

Look how different the clamp is at the opposite end of the threaded bolt. I think I need to spend the money on the middle one. It's $49 plus reasonable shipping.

Larry, the stainless V-bands are also available from Summit, and at very reasonable prices. Parsons and I got several from there for our exhaust systems. They are the type on the top and made by a major mfg (I forgot, but you will recognize the name when you get them.)

I think the ones on the top are made by Vibrant. I tried Summit but they don't carry the aluminum versions for plumbing my intercooler.

You could easily make the rings in aluminum and use a stainless clamp. I'll try to find the website that has the flange dim's.

Yeah, I thought for time reasons to buy the cheap sets now and make my own billet clamps later before SEMA.

Thanks guys. I wound up buying some from Deeds Performance an advertiser on the site. I didn't even think about it until this morning. That's who I also got my Turbonetics wastegates from.

T-bar, cross-bar and Constant Torque clamps in all sizes available for reasonable prices through Royal Brass in San Jose, CA:

      http://www.rbisj.com/

I have seen the 4" T-bar clamps sold for $10 each on the web - Royal Brass stocks them for ~$4.25 each.
