      Weight of a 1st gen camaro?

      I know all you old guys know this and have seen this thread a million times but is there any place where I could get the specs on a stocks 69 maro (ie wheel base, weight, lenght)? If not anyone know the weight of lets say a all iron sbc camaro?

      Pretty sure the title on my car says 3400 lbs. Wheelbase is 108 inches, length is 186 inches i believe...Weight can be off considerably, my car weighed in at 3300lbs full of gas after everything i'd done and i did nothing but add weight to the car atfirst (bigger engine, stereo, insulation,etc...). Anything else you need to know?

      The "Big Book of Camaro Data 1967-1973" has the following info:

      Overall length = 186.0 inches
      Overall width = 74.0 inches
      Overall height = 51.6 inches
      Wheelbase = 108.0 inches
      Front tread = 59.6 inches
      Rear tread = 59.5 inches
      Curb weight = 3120 lbs

      The weights seem a little low, they have a 67 weighing 2910 lbs and a 68 2950 lbs.

      I am very curious what my car will end up weighing. No AC and No heat combined with the LS1 should more than make up for the dynomat and heavier suspension.

      Anyone want to guess?

      SCCA Approved scales at a divisional autocross.

      3210 w/half tank of gas

      3395 w/me in it

      Think I might have acheived the lighter weight from using cheaper aftermarket body panels when I restored it instead of GM. Panels are thinner and I didn't have the money at the time (mowing lawns in high school).

      I don´t know. Came with the car when bought it. Some guy here in Sweden made it. Realy nice quality and lots of sturdiness.

      By the way. I paid $3000 for the car. No rust what so ever. Is that a good price in the states?
