      brake booster trouble

i instaled a "factory replacment" disk/drum brake booster in my camaro and it sits at a crazy angle. it slops up at a big angle from the fire wall and now wont let the hood shut. does any one know whats up with this?

      Hi Rob, a couple questions:
what car are we working on?
is this a manual to power conversion?
is it upside down?..sorry had to ask
Does the booster mounting flange sit flush against the firewall?

      answers....

its my 67 camaro im starting from scratch here so its not really a conversion but the car was originaly a drum brake car. its not upside down. and the flange is sitting flush and properly. the thing thats strange to me was the car came with the "disk brake kit" i think this stuff was off of a nova. but the booster didnt fit. so then i went to NAPA and orderd what i thought was the answer but i got the same booster that the car came with and its still doesnt work.

Hi Rob, yeah sorry but I had to ask...its sitting flush right? No nuts under the booster flange? It sounds like you might have the wrong booster.
