power steering pump and bracets for 1st gen

I'm swapping over to a lsx motor this winter. I've picked up pretty much the entire long block at this point. I have the f-body water pump, f-body alternator and bracket..

problem I'm having is locating a power sttering pump and bracket.. Is there anything aftermarket I can get without breaking the bank?

      thanks
      Mike

If you're running the f-body stuff then why not just run the f-body PS pump and bracket???

You can get them fairly cheap at a wrecking yard or new through Sean Carter at www.smcperformance.com

      Steve.

I've checked tech, local places and can not seem to find one.. I'm fine with running the stocker.

      any suggestions?

Yea, the link I supplied above should be able to get you taken care of. It's were I got my brackets, hoses, and pump for Penny.

I then had the pump modified by Turn One Steering.

Is there any special way that the LS1 pump needs to be adapted to fit the original Saginaw Steering Box? I'm guessing new hoses are needed.
