List of PCM items to delete....

      So far I have....

      - VATS
      - EGR
      - Rear O2 sensors
      - Purge valve
      - Secondary Air
      - EVAP System

Anything else I need to include in there? The engine had Air Conditioning once upon a time and I've also heard of this CAGS...not sure what that is but it was mentioned at LS1tech.com.

CAGS == Computer Aided Gear Selection (it's the stupid thing that forces the 1-4 upshift on light throttle when shifted below 19 mph).

A big delete of that! (though I think you are running an automatic, no?)

If it is ... delete it. It may not be there for an automatic.

Do you have to do anything to deal with TCS or cruise (if donor was equipped)?

Tony, work from the other end. List what you have, your tuner will know what you need, delete the rest. Especially VATS.

Or there was one guy who made a bypass module for his VATS. He could unplug it from the harness and put it in his pocket. He's on this forum. Scooter maybe? He has a 70 vette.

VATS/Fuel enable can be killed in the ECM

6 speed? Kill the transmission fluid pressure signals.
      Fuel tank pressure sensor.
      Aft O2 sensors
      Brake signal switch
Neutral safety switch (unless you want to wire it in)
      A/C pressure sensors
      Oil level switch
      Skip shift.
      AIR relay solenoid
      PC solenoid valve
      Cruise control
      A/C request signal
      A/C compressor supply voltage
      EVAP canister purge
      Air pump relay control
      Cruise control inhibit
      A/C clutch relay control
      Evap cansister vent solenoid
      Fuel level sensor

Oil pressure signal is not used by the PCM.

But I agree with WS6. Tell your tuner what you have and let him kill off the unnecessary garbage.

If you are doing the tuning yourself, then the lists provided will get you started. From there once the car is running you can see what codes come up and delete them as needed. I would not delete any front oxygen sensor codes or MAF sensor codes as they are helpful in any situation where a problem arises.

If you are having the box programmed by an outside source, if they are knowledgeable, they will know what to do per your setup.

Hope this helps. Thanks John for the "page"
