ummm and mybe your thinking of santa ana college becasue OCC doesnt have automotive program of any type, thats why i take my auto classes at GWC.
How long is the class? 1 month? What is the schedule like?

I used this same Carbon Fiber vinyl on my boat's dashboard. I bought a roll of ebay for like $5. It worked great.

THe school goes by semesters so the classes are 4 months long. The fisrt few classes are lectures and after that you just go to work on whatever you want on your car and the instructors help you.

The classes are Monday nad Wednesday from 7pm til 10pm
      or
Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm til 10pm

they also offer a paint course which is how i painted my car and that goes from 8am til 430pm on saturdays. the time goes by rediculously quick

heres a link to all the auto body classes they offer.

and heres a pic just because...

Alright, so i finished painting my racing stripes today... yah!!!

and i have to say that masking off for stripes is ten times more difficult then when you do it for full car paint.

      mixing and painting

for the rear, the stripes will run up the spoiler til 3 inches from the top, these pics are without the spoiler back on yet, ill post a pic of it with the spoiler tomorrow.

paint contrast, wet sanded vs orange peel... gotta love it

so i popped the spoiler back on today and now the car looks so much more complete....

heres a few pics of the stripes and spoiler back on outside and not in a booth... tomorrow the new windshield goes on along with the new black trim and maybe the rear bumper...

like a freaking genius, i, without noticing it at the time, accidentally used the windshield as leverage while attempting to fix the top of my fender, this is what ensued... i would not recommend it hahahaha

yeah... for right now though im just trying to decide between a thin black stripe abouta 1/4 of an inch on the outside around the stripes, or to have an offsetting color right on the edge of the stripes, adn what color i would use for that...

      im open to suggestions!

def. the thin black stripe, a diffrent color I think would be to much. I think that you should do the stripe around all the black not just the trunk stripes.

i think the reason u are not liking the stripe on the back is because it is not ran all the way to the back window. i think it would look much better if it was ran to the back window. dont get me wrong your car is still sick as fu** for suer!!!

Thanks guys, love the comments... kinda glad i could start some controversial opinions from people... makes me feel special hahaha

anyways, rear bumper went back on today. along with the new windshield. getting rid of the cracked windshield made me very happy.

What certainly did not make me happy was the *******s that were hired to put new dirt in our backyard decided to sweep the remaining dirt out of thier bed right next to my car and onto my two day old paint!!!!!

no ****ing respect! that pissed me off!

That's bull**** bro I feel for you. I'd be pissed as hell if they did that. I too agree that the rear stripes need to go all the way up to the window, it would look more complete. That gap just doesn't look right to me.
