Would this fuel pump be good for an LS1?

We're putting a mild iron-block LS1 (5.3L bored out to 5.7L with LS1 valves in heads and all) in the 68 Camaro we are building. It'll probably be a 400 fwhp or so motor.

Walbro just emailed me and offered a GSL392 in-line external fuel pump for the project if it would work.

We're going to run the stock tank and setup, with an external pump.

Would this be a good pump for this car?

i would look at the aeromotive baffle and an intank pump. or look at the tanks inc set up. i just converted a 85 chevy truck from carb to TPI. I used a mustang walbro pump and rigged it up in the stock tank.

We use that pump all the time, it will operate beautifully at the normal base pressure of 58 PSI.
