New from Idaho
After lurking for a year or so I felt it was time to introduce myself. My name is Daryn and I live in Fruitland, ID. on the Oregon border. I am a auto shop owner and long time car buff.
After an exhaustive search for a project for the shop (7yrs), I finally settled on a 68 Firebird shell. Thats right, a shell, no front clip, no suspension, damaged sheetmetal all around, but a very sound trunk, floorboard, and rockers. We have already stripped the car of exterior sheetmetal and a big box of stuff showed today. Its what we needed to get inspired to get back to work.
We are changing the car to a camaro and have grand plans. I hope with the help and inspiration of this board it wont be too long and drawn out of a project. Would love to hit the 06 Power tour, but only time will tell.
