      4th gen master on 2nd gen F-body

I am working on doing this swap. Has anyone done it? The bore is 1", and I have the bubble flared lines. The pushrod on the booster needs to be lengthened. I also have Howe twin piston calipers up front, and Caddy Seville in the rear.

      MC will not fit

When you try to bolt this together you will find out the outside diameter of the rear boss on the MC will not fit into the bore of the booster. All is not lost though some guys on NASTYZ28.com have mated the front half of a third gen booster with the back half of the stock second gen booster so they are able to use the late model MC.

      Take care,

I'm also going to use that MC, allthough, I can't seem to find matching "bolts" for the brake lines (what are they called?). Does anyone know what thread those are?
      Thanks

      4th gen master

I have the 4th gen booster as well. Actually the master relief as you call it is the same as the older style. In fact the master fits right on my stock 71 booster. Does anyone know how long the push rod stroke is of the 4th gen master. i need to know if i need to modify the pedal to account for that?

      4th gen master

I thought the 4th gen master bore was 15/16" (good for C4 stuff), where as the C5 MC
has the 1 inch bore for the C5 calipers. Do I have the right info?
