With a nice black paint job like that you really can't do much to hide bad body work... and that looks straight as an arrow! Good stuff!

Possibly a stupid/noob question here but what is the reason for the channel over the axle between the tubs in this pic?

Very nice car so far BTW.
GMC Syclone (currently wrecked thanks to the typical rubber headed VA driver not paying attention to his red stop light...oh and he didnt have insurance either)

I think this channel has the shocks/coilovers brackets welded in.

Very nice! That black is beatiful. Oh yeah, the rest of your collection isn't bad either. I am rather fond of the Vanquish. My brother is in Georgetown, maybe I can come by and see the cars one day when I am there????

Wow, they've done a ton of work so far! Which shop is doing that body/paint work?

Couldn't get away from the Fikse's huh? Is that like your 20th set by now? haha

Thanks guys, I'm really excited about getting done now!

James, a place called Prewitt Racing did the mini-tubb and shock brace.

Carbuff, Rodney@Austin's Collision did/doing the body&paint. He is the same guy that did my '73 T/A.

Colt, for now, I'm putting in a 450hp 383 stroker and a T56(thanks Tito). It has a DSE narrowed 9" and Baer Brakes all around. Full DSE suspension all around, coilovers/tubular arms up front, 3" drop springs rear.

      Stokes, they are Fikse FM5 18X8.5f 18x12.5 rear. 245'sfront 335's rear.

I really hope to have it all together by the end of the month. I plan on working on it every day for atleast 4-5 hours a day...

I think I heard someone mention that Rodney (Austin's Collision) recently purchased a 69 camaro.
If that’s true, hopefully he will go the PT route with it.
