I recently finished up a 67 Cougar and we had similar colors in mind as you however we knew the customer was going to drive the car a lot and didn't want to get too crazy with the color if there was an accident or oops and we had to go back in and repair something. He really liked Ford Ruby Red and house of color Kandy Brandy Whine. We came up with this custom mix in PPG DBC that was a single stage basecoat clear and it pops pretty well for that.

As you can see it changes quite a bit. These are the best photos I have that show the flop.

If you're considering orange I have this shade saved on my computer that I think would look great with black accenting but when its all said and done you have the final say in what you like best..

Thanks Eric, I just left a message on Lat-g on your thread 5 minutes ago. I hope your doing well.

slazisme, That's nice but I'm looking for something more orange. The first ones close to the color just like a little lighter when the suns not on it. Probably wishful thinking other than candy colors.

Wayne, I love seeing your updates. I'm going to have to go back through your thread to read up on what you did for all the supporting parts for the LSA supercharger. I picked one up a few weeks ago and will be adding it to my 6.2 build.

That should perk it up! I added a larger lower pulley, a Lingenfelter tuned EMP circulation pump, C&R heat exchanger and larger cooling lines. A BTR stage 3 cam kit.I also did the bronze rocker bushing kit.

I painted a 68 Firebird pro touring build a while back that was an orange pearl that was off an early 2000's Pontiac firebird that was really nice and was a brighter orange in a base/clear. I could post photos if your interested.

This is the Pontiac color Sunset Orange from a early 2000's Trans Am. I put it on a 68 Firebird that turned out very nice but I don't have a lot of great photos of it that show the color.

If the moon doesn't fall from the sky and squish me like a bug, or like the last one I was going to buy ( Oh I forgot my cousin wanted it!) YUP. I'll be getting a used 7000 lb Backyard Buddy lift installed next Tuesday!! 5-8 year old. I've looked forever and finally found this on from a company that sells new lifts they are installing it. It has some rust on the floor pads and a little on some hardaware that I'll take care of when it gets here.

SOM paint. That is very sought after in the 4th Gen Camaro and Firebird community. Very cool.
