We made some progress since my last post we installed a couple of fittings on the power steering reservoir and I plumbed it in to the hydroboost and mounted on the fender well. I used XRP hose and AN fittings made for power steering pressure.

After talking to Injector Dynamics who recommended a 10 micron filter, I picked up a Fuelabs ceramic filter good for all fuels. Then we marked up some hoses that will need to be sent out to be crimped. This pic only shows where it will be mounted, it still needs to be attached to the firewall. I.D. wanted it as close to the injectors as I could get it.

It's not as close as it looks to the header, plus it has a heat protection cover on it. The bottom of the filter will be moved over to mount it plumb.

First my latest part from GM $28

GM tucking it to to you one part at a time!

We're into the wiring now :bang: Not my favorite.... Like my friend GW. says one thing at a time!

I had the injector harness covered the same as the rest of the wires but it was too stiff to go where I needed it, so it went back to the way the factory had it.

Wayne, do you have some coil covers that hide your wiring? If you do, there's less to worry about.

I have the one they use on the ZL1 in Carbon fiber but the bigger cooling hoses will make it tough to make it fit.

Today we mounted the 5th gen console in the car for a test fit. It's going to work out pretty good with the B&M Pro Ratchet shifter. The cable might be tricky but we have a few ways to try.

      Wayne,

Did you ever figure out the alternator hook-up issue?

      Thanks Chiva.
Andrew I called GM performance, to get through you need a customer number and mine expired I guess. I think I'm going I'm going to try the Holley or Mad electric for one if their pig tails I'll read up on both and order one and try that unless someone gets in touch with GM and gets a final answer.

I buy from them but I find myself spending the $35 just to get the free shipping.

I got the shifter bolted down today. didn't stay in the garage to long 95 degrees in there even with my 12000 BTU A/C running and the door to the house open to get some of that a/c.

Damn - just stumbled across your thread. Really blows that all your pics except for the last page aren't working because of that BS stunt they are pulling. Sounds like you have one hell of a ride here. Will be following your thread from here on out. Keep up the great work!

We got the shift cable installed and it feels pretty good. Here's what we did to the shift lever.

Here's what we ended with. I have an aluminum pan ordered, the cable should make it by on that one.

A couple of days ago we installed the finch Vent, and measured the hoses so they could be sent to crimp them. I got an e mail they are on there way back.

I got the DSE RS electric door motors installed and tried them with a power supply. To get them in we had to pull the radiator and the intercooler tank to get at the bolts. But at least it's done now.

I started on the gauge pod for my console, I'm trying to do something like Jeff (jwcarguy) did on his console. Now that I tried I'm finding out I'm blind as a bat and have trouble cutting a straight line no matter what I use. lol

I took a few pictures of my attempt. First I measured everything to get an idea where to start. Then I trimmed the Gauge pod, it got trimmed more after this picture.

Then cut out the console trim piece. This one had the change dish. (no gauges)

Then I started fitting it in trimming a little at a time.

It fits in pretty decent, it's just laying there with tape on the bottom. I'll do a little more tomorrow.

I also painted a few pieces and restored the brake pedal since I'm not using the standard set up now.

I wired in the plug for the starter and it's all hooked up, and put the Holley end on the Alternator and connected the charging wire to my main battery cable.

The hoses I sent to be crimped came back and we installed the fuel filter

I finally got around to installing my Emergency brake kit from Kore 3 It's a nice complete kit and even after having it for 2 years I got in touch with Tobin and he was right back to me with the help I needed.

      First backing plate installed

      Axle in

All assembled just need to bolt on the Caliper and move to the other side.

I ordered this Hopefully I'll use it before the warranty is over on it.
