The list of racing event sanctioning bodies/organizers

I think this would be valuable. Perhaps admins/mods can organize it better (maybe breaking it down into region, etc) and turn it into a sticky post. Here's the list of event organizers that I can think of right now. Additions are welcomed and much appreciated.

      Autocross

      Road racing, Open Tracking/HPDE

      www.av8ss.com (RR)
      www.ncracing.org (RR, OT)
      www.speedventures.net (OT, HPDE)
      www.speedtrialusa.com (OT)

      Open Road Racing
      www.openroadracing.com
      www.silverstateclassic.com

      Drag Racing
      www.nhra.com

      Land Speed Racing
      www.scta-bni.org
www.saltflats.com (can run your street car up to 130 on salt)
      www.ecta-lsr.com (for east coast guys)
      www.texasmile.com

The first step of becoming a better driver is to attend a track event, time yourself, and realize the fact you really suck.

      Katz,

Good idea! Hopefully everyone will contribute to this thread, and fill it up. Once we've got a good amount of stuff, I'll edit it all into 1 post, and stick it up top.
